Ages 6 – 12

Discover how articulate NATURE can be in an environment that encourages discovery and creativity. Children will learn through hands-on exploration and study of nature and ecology through investigation, nature art, storytelling, movement, gardening, animals, journaling and more.

Spence’s Farm is pleased to announce its affiliation with Tamara Cope-Musleh, ND, MH, who is now offering Environmental Education & Enrichment classes for Homeschoolers @ Spence’s Farm for Kids. A Board-certified Naturopath, Master Herbalist, and certified North Carolina & Virginia Environmental Educator -- Tamara will have use of the farm’s 35 acres, animals, and specialized facilities such as horse barns, woods, and more to use as a living environmental education classroom.

Each Friday session will take place from 10 am to 2 pm. Each 4 hour module will include two (2) “Green Ed” classes and one (1) Enrichment Class such as Pottery or Woodworking . Content will meet NC Standards of Learning.
