Farm Home School Staff
Spence Dickinson
Spence was born on a farm and has gardened and worked
with animals his whole life.
He began horseback riding before he was 10 years old
and has had extensive training
with many different styles. He can train horses like
a horse whisperer. Spence has been
working and teaching children for more than 45years.
He has extensive training in
personal development including solutions for people
with addictions.
Spence also enjoys teaching
woodworking, gardening, drumming, photography, riding,
driving, forestry management,
cooking, canning, pruning and farm management.
Sarah Horton
Sarah started riding horses at the age of six, and
from that point she knew that horses
would be a major part of her life. She attended Averett
University where she received
Bachelors degrees in both Equine Business Management
and Marketing. After finishing
college Sarah was hired as Horse Programs Director
at Spence’s Farm. Sarah enjoy’s
riding her horses, teaching children how to ride,
spending time with her family, and going
hiking with her dog.
